26th and 27th September 2008 - Comedy Murder Mystery
A fun fund-raiser directed by Tricia Richardson Click here for Cast List and Rehearsal Schedule Some of you may already know that we are planning a fund-raiser for The Hospice of St Francis and the National Children's Homes in the form of a mini-production loosely based on the comedy ‘allo, ‘allo. in September 2008. It will be in the form of a Murder Mystery with Cabaret and will include a 2-Course Supper. We would like this production to be a very light-hearted affair and as the play is short, rehearsals should be kept to a minimum. Apart from Rene, Helga and Edith, there will be very few lines to learn, so we envisage rehearsing only for a few weeks in July (AFTER the Agatha Christie) and also a few weeks in September leading up to the fund-raiser itself. The actual dates of the fund-raiser are 26th and 27th September. This is a new venture for us, and in order to make it a success and raise our profile in the Village we need all the enthusiasm that we can muster. It should be a lot of fun without the need for loads of rehearsals. Our main aim is to make as much money as we can for Charity but at the same time have ourselves a good time. |
