• 5th December - Box Office opens

• 23rd November - Rehearsals going strong. Priority Booking Forms have gone out to our Patrons. Members will be getting theirs soon and the Box Office opens to the general public on Monday 4th December.

• 16th January 2006 - Happy New Year everyone. With Sleeping Beauty now behind us, we will start on the next Production - Nell's Belles. Watch this space (and your letter boxes) for further details

2005

• 28th September - Audition pieces for Sleeping Beauty added - please see 'Current Show'

• 27th September - Members Page updated to include a link to the CTG Constitution, also change in titles to the Committee following last night's AGM. Coming Soon changed to add Jungle Book.

• 19th September - Photos (thanks again Jo) for the CTG Barbecue now available for viewing in the Photo Gallery.

• 14th July - NODA Crit for CUOM added to Past productions.

• 12th July - Thanks to Jo Halkett for sending me some rehearsal photos for CUOM - See Photo Gallery

• 4th July - CUOM now another 'Past Show' and we look forward to the Auditions for Sleeping Beauty. We have another 'New Members' drive, so anyone that wants to come and see what we do just email me here.

• 6th May - Box Office for CUOM opens 9th May - Seated at Tables of up to 8 people, you are invited to watch the Performance in a ‘Social manner’. A Licensed bar open before the 1st Act and again at the Interval allows you to buy your drinks and enjoy them during the Performance. ‘Tables’ mean less seats so -  book early and bring your friends! – NOTE: 7.30pm start!

• 28th February - Remember Jenny Morgan? The Revue Variety Company will be Performing 'Night and Day' written by Jenny at the Kings Langley Community Centre from 25th - 30th April. Concessions Monday to Thursday and Matinee on Saturday. Please help Support our local Groups - Box Office is 01923 265310. Click here for a scan of a write-up in 'The Villager'

• 8th February - CTG have received a very nice thank you card from David Hudson following our decision to dedicate Pinocchio to his late wife Beverley's memory. If you would like to see a copy of the card there is a link available from the "Pinocchio" page (See Past Productions).

• 5th February -We would like to invite you to a big-screen showing of the January Show video on Monday 28th Feb at 8:00pm in Chipperfield Village Hall.

  These evenings are great fun and I expect we will decamp to the Brewers after the main feature. Although we will be laying on some light refreshments, please feel free to bring your own popcorn etc!

  Please pass on this information to anyone who might be interested, but may not be seeing message - everyone is welcome, we are just trying to keep costs down by not sending out letters to everyone.

• 23rd January 2005 - After another successful January Production, we have a regular audience member who wants to be sure of Priority Booking by becoming a Patron. Miss Sarah Saxby joins us. Why not check out the Patron scheme here?

• 12th December - Please welcome our newest Patrons - Mary Wright and also Steve & Lorraine Percival.

• 1st December - Box Office opens 6th December. All Members and Patrons have been sent their priority booking forms.

• 11th October - Rehearsal Schedule now available in 'Current Show'.
  Reminder to lapsed Members and Patrons - Box Office opening in a few weeks time, you need to have rejoined to be eligible for Priority Booking - and we all know how quickly the Panto sells out!

• 21st September - Following last night's AGM the Committee Membership has now changed. Lisa Callcut stepped down from the Chair and has been succeeded by John Oglesby. We also have 3 new faces on the Committee. Please check out the Members Page for the full news.

• 10th July - NODA crit now available for Sand Castles - see Past Productions from Menu on the left.

• 9th July - CTG Webmail facility added. Click on the What is CTG Webmail link above. Also why not join the CTG Contact List and stay in touch!

• 8th July - Photos for Sand Castles AND Village day now available in the Photo Gallery. Thanks to Jo and also to John for photos of both the rehearsals AND the After Show Party.

• 28th June - I've downloaded some mp3's of the Village Day recording of CTG Members made by Alan and Joan. I've kept them as small as possible, but you dial-up people may find it a bit slow to download. Either click on the link to download and play it or RIGHT click and do a save as to download an save it to your PC.

• 18th January - Ali Baba was an almost total sell-out and a great time was had by all. Watch this space for the next Production!

• 16th December - Alan Ayckbourn's "A Chorus of Disapproval" is to be performed by The Bovingdon Players on January 14th, 16th and 17th in the Bovingdon Memorial Hall at 7.45 pm. Tickets are available at £5 (concessions) and £7 from 01442 832771. See here for the Poster

• 16th December - Box Office for Ali Baba is going HUGELY well. Apart from a few odd seats, Saturday Evening and Matinee are sold out and Friday is well over half full. Still some good seats left for Friday and a few more for Thursday. Book NOW. You can email your Order here but please remember - they must can only be held for 1 week after which they must be paid for.

• 21st November - Please welcome Pauline Williams (of Wilsons of Bovingdon) as our newest Patron! Pauline is no stranger to CTG Productions - but now she's a Patron she can use her Priority Booking and be right there at the front!

• 5th November - Many of us have enjoyed a fine meal at the Cart & Horses in Commonwood. Ann and Ian Reynolds are regular advertisers with us. Now I am pleased to say that Ann Reynolds has become a Patron. Welcome Ann!

• 23rd October - It has been pointed out to me that I have been a little remiss - and forgot to mention that Sarah Phillips also joined as a Patron at the AGM. Please accept my apologies Sarah, I hope it is of some consolation that you have a 'Latest News' entry - dedicated JUST FOR YOU!! Welcome!

• 19th October - Ali Baba Rehearsals now well under way! Who got what after the Auditions? Check the 'Current Show' link for a full Cast List.

• 13th October - A warm welcome to our newest Patrons - Rita and Rod Install, Wally Instrall and Corrine and Nigel Woods. Welcome to CTG and to the growing list of Patrons who support us Production after Production.

• 9th October - Ali Baba Auditions are over and the Panto has been cast.

• 20th August -  IMPORTANT CHANGES - Check out Current Show (on the left) - the dates and times of the Read-throughs for Ali Baba have changed from those previously stated. Don't miss out by ignoring this advice.

• 20th June - What a fantastic first night! Also, please welcome Carole and Jeff Butcher who joined us as Patrons when they arrived - and that was BEFORE the Show. Welcome to CTG Carole and Jeff!

• 16th June - Fast Food Rockers have released their single TODAY. Why the interest? Because One third of this trio is our very own RIA SCOTT! Check out their website at www.fastfoodrockers.co.uk . Well done Ria - remember your roots when you are famous!

• 9th June - A HUGE thank you to Jo Halkett for photos of the St Pauls and CTG Gala Night. I've put them in the Photo Gallery for all to see. They are under the Non-Show link.

• 4th June - I finally got around to updating the Cast List on the 'Current Show' Page. Why bother? Because when the NEXT Show becomes the Current Show, THIS one will still be around in the archives - and it's only fair to make the information within it ACCURATE. If anyone see any other errors PLEASE email me.

  Oh - I've also updated the Coming Soon page.

• 30th May - WOW! We've had an unprecedented demand for tickets. After a trip to the village hall, James, John and myself re-designed the floor layout so we could fit a few more Customers in. We managed to satisfy our waiting list and have just a few more left on some nights - so if you missed out before - TRY AGAIN but you'd better be QUICK!!! If you DID miss out, I'm sure there's a lesson to be learnt here somewhere??

• 9th May - The Box Office is now officially open for CTG's next Production - WILD WILD WOMEN. We have table seating (10 max at each table) and a bar open all evening serving drinks to the tables. Why not get a whole group together - it's a great night out! email the Box Office to reserve your tickets or call Jill on 01442 832770.

• 28th March - A Big thanks once again to Jo Halkett for all the new photos. We have Lisa's 40th birthday bash at Jongleurs, The Dick Whittington After Show Party and the recent excursion to the Rocky Horror Show - thislast one has to be seen to be believed! Find them all here!

• 21st March - OK, who remembers Steve Pryer? He was one of Members for many years and now has his OWN Group in Toddington. Why not support Steve and go and watch their latest offering. Click here to see the poster.

• 20th March - Please give a big welcome to Kelly and Kirsty Drake who joined as new Members this evening. Welcome both!

• 21st February - Tricia Richardson is doing 'Sweeney Todd - the Musical' in Wing next month. Make sure you get a crowd up and book some tickets! Our very own Jo Halkett and Paul Instrall are in it!

• 20th February - Rehearsal Schedule added to 'Current Show' links. I've added a 'snaking CTG tail' to the mouse pointer (only on THIS page). Please let me know what you think on the Guest Book. I'll remove it if you think it's intrusive.

• 13th February - Fancy a modern take on Romeo and Juliet? It's on soon in St Albans. Utilising film and music to augment the live action, this contemporary staging of one of the most famous plays ever written offers a twenty first century take on Shakespeare’s tragic tale of love and revenge. • 9th February - Auditions for Wild Wild Women were held today; tremendously supported and to a very high standard. Full Cast List available in 'Current Show' or by this link.

• 3rd February - New button added to Link Bar - to the SECURE Area. Also NODA critique available for the Panto - choose Previous Productions and then Dick Whittington. Link is there. I'll add other crits as and when I receive them.

• 30 January - Patrons renewal letters went out last weekend. A big thank you to  those ALREADY renewed (8 so far!).

• 25th January - 'Current Show' now shows Wild Wild Women. Letter sent out to all Members.
