What you should prepare

For a singing role please prepare a song (not necessarily from Peter Pan) that’s appropriate to the character and shows-off your singing range. You’ll be unaccompanied unless you provide a backing track or sing a song from the show.

For an acting role, please identify any part of the dialogue appropriate to the character (others will read with you).
You are also likely to read other sections of dialogue from the script.

A perusal script (which cannot be printed) can be downloaded here.

  • As a copyrighted document, it must only be used in preparation for the audition.
  • If you wish to print the odd page, use the Windows Accessory Snipping Tool to save an image of a page.
  • Paste the image into a word processor and print.
  • If you don’t have the Snipping Tool or something similar, save a copy of your screen (hold down the Alt key and press the Prt Scr Key). Paste the image into a word processor, crop and print.

Selected scenes (which can be printed) can be downloaded here.

If cast, the membership fee is £10 per child and £15 per adult. Scripts are an additional £10.

I am casting a team of about 20 all-rounders – singers, dancers and actors.

Selection will depend on how you present yourself; your personality, your imagination, your energy, your behaviour, your ability to take instruction and how you work as part of a team. A minimum standard of singing and dancing is also required.

If selected to join the Chorus you will be part of the Lost Boys, Pirates and Indians and may also be asked to help create the various illusions that occur during the show.

What to expect

Please arrive promptly and ask your parents to stay for the first 10 minutes.

I’ll introduce myself and the team. I’ll tell you and your parents about the show, what to expect of rehearsals, the rehearsal schedule and the performance dates. I’ll also tell your parents how they can help and who they should contact with any questions.
